You know, these Canadians can't take a joke. Actually, they can take a joke, but only until noon. Apparently, if you play a prank after noon, you are the "April Fool" and they get to pinch you. I would have liked to have known this before 10am this morning. I was scrambling to get all of my pranks in by noon. And even had to call off a few.
Silly Canadians.

ReplyDeleteMy sister also suggested this was a joke played on me by some clever Canadians. And if it were, kudos to them as this is now the best prank played on me EVER. They got everyone I spoke with (staff at work, my area minister's wife who lives two hours south, and folks at the university where Craig works) to go along. And they even changed the wikipedia page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_fools. (Yeah, I know wikipedia is open source, so anyone can edit.) So, if this was a joke, I tip my hat to Lindsay and Shauna. They got me good.
